Our Mission:

The UATA exists to bring together professional art therapists, art therapy students, and those who support the professional practice of art therapy in the state of Utah. We are committed to supporting the highest professional practice and legal recognition of art therapists.

Encouraging the highest quality of art therapy services to the public; facilitating communication among members and colleagues; supporting state and federal legislative efforts that impact art therapy; disseminating information to the general public; and, recognizing excellence in art therapy in clinical, professional, educational, and research efforts. Art Therapy Credentials Board

ATCB Mission:

The Art Therapy Credentials Board (ATCB) mission statement was recently updated with the new mission becoming effective January 1, 2012. The former mission statement was:  to protect the public by promoting the competent and ethical practice of Art Therapy. The new mission statement adds clarity by stating that we protect the public by promoting the competent and ethical practice of Art Therapy through the credentialing of Art Therapy Professionals.
